Krayzie Bone released his remix of Eminem’s controversial Rap God the other day, aptly titled Clash of the Titans. For those of you who don’t know, Krayzie Bone was a part of the rap-melody group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, who rose to popularity in the early 90s. Clash of the Titans samples Rap God’s beat and uses rapid-fire wordplay throughout the entire song. Since releasing this track on the Quick Fix show, Clash of the Titans has caught a lot of attention within the hip-hop community. Krayzie Bone is hard at work on supposedly his last solo album, Chasing the Devil, which is slated for release in 2014. So what do you think? Is it better than Eminem’s version?
Now this next story is so utterly absurd that I felt compelled to write about it. Remember Ja Rule? Once the hottest rapper in the game, Ja is now known for having his career destroyed over his rap feud with 50 Cent in the early 2000s (though in all fairness, 50’s career has taken quite the downturn since then too). Well, Ja Rule is making headlines again after his wife announced their separation–which was apparently caused over a man. Yes, according to Mrs. Rule, her husband is abandoning her to be with his prison cell mate. Ja, however, dismissed the statements as rumors and responded by tweeting this picture:
Are these merely rumors or is Ja hiding something from the public? Or is this just stupid publicity for the couple’s MTV special Married After Prison, which is set to air this month? Personally, I’m going with the latter.
